After successfully manufacturing and delivering Tube Bundles to Saudi Aramco in 2018, GSW achieves another milestone: full fabrication and supply of  Duplex ( UNS S31803 ) Tube Bundles and Heat Exchanger Channel body parts to Sonatrach in 2020. The first shipment, comprising of 02 Tube Bundles, 08 Channels and 08 Floating Head Assemblies weighing a whopping 30.5 metric tons, was manufactured under record time and delivered by air; the first shipment of its kind from Saudi Arabia to Algeria.

Everything from start to finish – including the WOL Flux core welding of 137mm thick 16 tube sheets, Non-destructive testing, CNC machining and drilling of 970 tube holes, GTAW based TTS welding of 14,672 joints, and 122mm expansion of the tubes – was done by GSW in 07 weeks. The cargo was packed and shipped via chartered Boeing 747 from Dammam to Hassi Messaoud Airport under special security arrangement.
